index Budget & Fiscal

The Area Budget/Fiscal office provides a wide variety of fiscal services and assistance to the locations throughout the Midwest Area.

Resource planning - Fiscal year oversight for the planning and preparation of the ARMPS. Providing and clarifying instructions to MWA locations for salary and plan projections, CRIS guidelines. Review of all ARMP packages for accuracy and final submission to FMD for the ARMP review by ARS Administrators.

Financial management - Allocations from BPMS, tracking permanent and temporary fund changes throughout the fiscal year, salary lapse, financial plans, Interagency Agreements, and CRADAS. First source of assistance for the implementation and utilization of FFIS as the ARS Integrated Financial Management System for MWA.

Travel and relocation services - Foreign and domestic travel assistance and all relocation requirements are provided to the locations by the Area Transportation Assistant.
