Area Engineering Services

  1. ARS Headquarters
    • Serves as consultant and advisor to Facilities Division (FD) in the planning and technical administration of facility projects managed by FD in the MWA
    • Serves on panel for selection of Architect-Engineer (A-E) firms
  2. Area Management
    • Serves as primary advisor throughout the MWA on all engineering, construction, repair and maintenance activities.
    • Conducts meetings with A-E's and other facility contractors on projects within the MWA
    • Reviews and evaluates facility plans in Annual Resource Management Plan System (ARMPS) submitted by MWA locations
    • Develops government estimates for facility projects to be completed in the MWA
  3. Project Management
    • Prepares Statement of Work for A-E services on MWA projects
    • Provides technical representation for the MWA Contracting Officer as needed
